アストンマーチンが2026年までに、純粋なガソリンエンジン車（pure-combussion)の販売を終了するそうです。しかしながら、2026年からもハイブリッド車はラインナップに残ると予測されており、完全な電気自動車化を行うわけではなさそうです。
Lawrence Stroll 会長がThe Financial Timesに語った所によると、決断が揺れている様にも見受けられます。
Chairman Lawrence Stroll told the Financial Times: “I can’t tell you that 100% of Aston Martin customers want an electric vehicle. “People still want the smell, the noise [of combustion-engined cars]. We’re gradually going to get to full EV, but we will continue offering both [electric and hybrids].
“There will still be an electrification component, but if someone wants an internal combustion engine in 2028, that will happen.”
日本市場でも同様の方針であるかは不明です。
